Our commitment

hellomateo maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against spam. We prohibit the advertising or promotion of our websites (including hellomateo.de and all subdomains such as crm.hellomateo.de) by means of unsolicited electronic messages of any kind — whether sent by us, our employees, our affiliates, our partners, or any third party.

What we consider spam

Spam is any commercial electronic message (email, SMS, messenger, or other channel) sent to a recipient who has not given prior, verifiable consent to receive such messages, or with whom no existing business relationship exists that permits such contact under applicable law (in particular the EU GDPR, the German UWG, and Germany's implementation of the ePrivacy Directive).

Our sending practices

• We send commercial email only to recipients who have opted in through a double-opt-in process or who are existing customers within the limits of § 7 Abs. 3 UWG.
• Every commercial message we send contains a clearly visible, functioning unsubscribe mechanism. Opt-out requests are honored immediately and without cost to the recipient.
• We do not buy, rent, or harvest email addresses, and we do not permit our customers or partners to do so when using our services.
• We authenticate all outgoing mail with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Transactional and customer-service messages are sent only in the context of an existing customer relationship or at the recipient's request.

Third parties, affiliates, and customers of our platform

We do not operate affiliate marketing programs that permit email advertising of our websites. No third party is authorized to advertise hellomateo or any of our domains via unsolicited messages. Customers using the hellomateo platform are contractually required by our Terms of Service to obtain recipient consent before messaging and to comply with all applicable anti-spam and data-protection laws. Violations lead to suspension or termination of the account.

Reporting spam

‍If you have received an unsolicited message that advertises or links to any hellomateo domain, please forward it, including full headers, to abuse@hellomateo.de. Every report is investigated, and we will take appropriate action, up to and including termination of the responsible account and notification of the competent authorities.

Enforcement

‍We reserve the right to suspend or terminate, without notice or refund, any account, partner, or affiliate found to be violating this policy.
